DownloadThis sheet is useful as a Strategy Builder which means that you use it to give you an idea of how to play out the round in the most efficient manner. Unlike the oop simulators around this does not give you an hour by hour completely accurate development of the first few days, instead it helps you see if 20% Smithies and 10% Gyphron Nests is a more efficient use of space at 3k land than 10% Smithies and 20% Gyphron Nests, or "are a mix of Bashers and Smashers more efficient and/or quicker than all Smashers?" or something similar. Thus with this information you are better equipped to play a better round. Features: Strategy sheet - input your desired strategy (all variables minus wonders/war bonuses included) and see how much plat you make and how much op/dp you can afford or build every hour, it gives you various ways of guaging your efficiency so you can compare one strat with another and one race with another. Conversion Scheduler - for those of you who want to build a conversion strategy then this is essential to find out how quickly you can convert to a full attacker at any land size. Time sheet - save your snapshots of strategies at various land sizes to this sheet and it gives you a general guidline of the time it will take you to get from one size to the next and help you figure out if a raze-rezone-rebuild is worth it. Tech acquisition scheduler - see how fast you can grow whilst gaining techs at the most efficient pace, or just see how fast you can get techs staying where you are ;) Charts - take a look at the graphical representation of how your dominion grows, useful tool if you save your last round at various land sizes so you can see the dynamics of the game. Otherwise use it to have a general view of what you should be changing in your strat at various sizes. This is a normal zip file (172kb). (63KB) |

Leige Lords:As we all know Ross (and his hamster) have implemented Leige Lords as a side project beta, dont ask me for a sheet version that encorporates the rules of that version of the game. Firstly I dont play it (nor would I have played it if I was still an active dom player), secondly I dont know the new formulas for build costs/explore costs etc, therefore it is hard to write one. And last but by no meanly least I disagree with the concept of an alliance based and therefore alliance encouraging game entirely (no matter what "checks" are put in place) so dont come asking for advice. |

Useful Links:
* To get to the IRC channel #dom-chat you should probably download mIRC here if you dont already have it. Then you need to go to the server irc.irctoo.net (there are a number of ways to do this but the simplest is to input "/s irc.irctoo.net" into the input/command box on the only window that pops up, or you can just add a new server to the interface's list). Once you are connected to the irc.irctoo.net server, in the same command box type in "/j #dom-chat". Otherwise use www.irctoo.net and then enter in the chat room box "#dom-chat". There are normally about 15-30 people online at a time and maybe about 5 active at any one time.
